Boston IVF is a Diamond Sponsor of GLAD Spirit of Justice Award Dinner

Boston, MA: Once again, Boston IVF and Samuel Pang, MD are sponsoring the Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders (GLAD) annual Spirit of Justice (SOJ) Award Dinner. The 15th annual event will be held October 24th in Boston and will honor well known LGBT activist Urvashi Vaid. The SOJ award dinner is GLAD's flagship event and attracts over 1,000 attendees.

Urvashi Vaid has made change through her leadership at myriad advocacy organizations, the creation of the first lesbian political action committee (LPAC), and writings that challenge the LGBT movement to be expansive in its thinking and inclusive in its work. We are proud to note that while a law student at Northeastern University, Urvashi was among GLAD’s very first staff members, lending her great talents to the inception of the LGBT legal movement. As she said in her 1993 March on Washington for Lesbian, Gay and Bi Equal Rights speech, “The gay civil rights movement is an integral part of the American promise of freedom”.
