Assisted Reproduction Options for Lesbians

Boston IVF provides three assisted reproductive options for lesbians and F to M gender queer couples who wish to become pregnant.

Information about each of these options can be found at left. These are:
•  IUI (intrauterine insemination) with donor sperm
•  IVF (in vitro fertilization) using donor eggs, donor sperm, and/or a gestational surrogate
•  Reciprocal IVF

Lesbians investing in medical assistance to become pregnant should engage in a complete fertility testing work-up to determine if there is a possibility of challenges that might require surgery, medications or other infertility focused assisted reproduction therapies.

Boston IVF has been helping lesbian couples become pregnant and to build families since 1988. We are experienced, highly regarded medically,  accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and the College of American Pathologists, and recognized as a Center of Excellence by Optum Health and Aetna Institute.

We know that becoming a parent is a natural desire for most people, gay or straight. With this knowledge we treat our gay, lesbian, transgender, and gender queer patients no differently than our heterosexual patients. We are committed to providing quality medical care in a friendly, compassionate and inclusive environment.
