Dr. Carla DiGirolamo

Carla DiGirolamo, MD, provides IUI with donor sperm for lesbian and bisexual women at Boston IVF.

In addition to a medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Dr. DiGirolamo also earned a PhD in molecular pathology from MCP-Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and is published in the area of adult stem cell research. She is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and completed her Fellowship training in this specialty through Harvard Medical School at the Massachusetts General Hospital.  Dr. DiGirolamo's residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at Women and Infants’ Hospital in Providence, R.I. through the Alpert Medical School at Brown University. Dr. DiGirolamo sees patients at Boston IVF's offices in Westborough, Milford and Waltham, Massachusetts.

When she is not seeing patients, you will often find Dr. DiGirolamo on the tennis court or training in the gym. She is a fitness enthusiast and applies this philosophy to patient care. "Being as healthy as you can be physically and mentally goes a long way to fuel the positive energy that can make the experience of conception and pregnancy successful and rewarding," she explains. Dr. DiGirolamo also supports her patients' interest in participating in yoga, acupuncture and mind-body modalities for health and stress reduction.
