Gay Male Fertility Testing

Gay male fertility testing typically involves a semen analysis test through a primary care physician or at Boston IVF.

Biological fatherhood is possible for men who have healthy sperm and do not have anatomical conditions that would impact fertility. The intended parent(s) within a gay male couple will typically participate in a semen analysis test that measures sperm concentration (number), motility (movement) and morphology (shape and development), which enable sperm to fertilize a donated egg. This test can be done through your primary care physician or at Boston IVF.

If treatment for male factor infertility is required, many services can be provided at Boston IVF or may involve referral to a Urologist.
